Safety first

At R Moulding & Co, we believe passionately in health and safety in the workplace, whether in the office or on the building site.

In 2008, we received a Certificate of Commitment, Gold Standard, awarded by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). This acknowledges that we are committed to the furtherance of competence and health and safety in the workplace.

To qualify for this Gold Standard, at least 75% of the workforce needs to be on the scheme. In the building industry, by its nature quite transient, this is a huge achievement and one of which we are justifiably proud.

Through this scheme, our workers (whatever their job in the building process) receive recognition for their skills and they have a membership card which similarly proves their commitment to health and safety issues.

To further illustrate our commitment to health and safety, we produce an annual training matrix which is a plan outlining all the training opportunities offered during the year. This ensures that all our workers are kept up-to-date with developments in this ever-changing world.
